Locker Facility
- Bank safe deposit lockers are a good option for safeguarding your valuables and documents.Just as you trust our bank with your money in the savings accounts or fixed deposits, safe deposit lockers offer the best option to safeguard your valuables, including jewellery, cash and important documents.
- Each locker has two sets of keys, one for the customer, the other with the bank, and it can be opened only if both the keys are used. It is better to own a locker jointly and name one or more nominees. This ensures hassle-free transfer of contents in the event of the death of either or both account holders. Most importantly, read the guidelines on lockers thoroughly.
Deposit Guarantee Scheme
Kerala Co-operative Deposit Guarantee Fund Board Was established under the order G.O (p) No 3/2012 co.op dated 11/1/2012 under the provisions of section 57 B of Kerala Co-operative Society Act 1969 and now these scheme is known as Kerala Co-operative Deposit Guarantee Scheme 2012. Government have decided to enroll all Co-operative Societies under the control of Registrar of co-operative societies which accepts deposits as members of the Kerala Co-operative Deposit Guarantee Scheme.Arakkuparamba service co-operative bank also enrolled this scheme and provideved Guarantee for the deposit. This will create the confidence among depositors and for attracting more deposit
Risk Fund Scheme
Kerala Cooperative Risk Fund Scheme is implemented by the Kerala Cooperative Development Welfare Board. Borrowers from Arakkuparamba Service Co operative Bank can join the Risk Fund Scheme. The Risk Fund Scheme is enacted to cover the loan liability of loanees (up to 70 years) who die during the loan period and also aims to give relief to the dependents of such persons. In this scheme a balance loan amount up to Rs. 300000 capital need not be paid back in case of death of the borrower. Rs. 125000 for Chronic illness like , Cancer , Kidney failure, Open heart surgery. The scheme will not be available to persons who default payments for more than 6 months. All Borrowers should ensure joining Risk Fund Scheme while availing loans from the Bank.
Social security Pension Distribution
Our bank is very happily implementing the scheme of delivering the various social security pensions implemented by the Kerala government directly to the beneficiaries through cooperative banks. We have successfully implemented the project in 9 wards in Thazhekode Grama Panchayath (5th to 13th wards). Apart from the shortcomings due to technical problems, the pension distribution was completed flawlessly
Mass Care Treatment assistance scheme
In order to support the weaker sections of the community Arakkuparamba Service co operative bank provide monthly financial support to Dialysis patients , medical assistance for the terminally ill through Mass care treatment assistance scheme.
